Yes, the name of the site is an obvious reference to The Who and yes, this website is for people who, while active participants in the 21st century, remember the music, culture and politics of the 20th century — those who remember the ‘60s and ‘70s and now contemplate what it means to be in our sixties and seventies—and maybe eighties. We’re imagining it as a place where we all can share thoughts about yesterday’s culture, politics, technology, and wonder about today’s. A place to reminisce about the past, confront the present, and ponder the uncertainties (and maybe certainties) of tomorrow.
Please help us launch the site with your ideas, thoughts, complaints, and groovy reactions. We welcome all reasonably relevant contributions because we don’t want the site to be mainly just us, two long-time journalism pros who still have lots to say. We want to know what’s on your mind, too.
Our writers, so far, include: Neil Offen, Mitchell Stephens, Esther Davidowitz, Carol Offen, Jerry Lanson, Melinda Moulton. More to come. Including, you, we hope.
Getting in Touch
Yes, we would like to hear your thoughts on these subjects. Click here to reach us.
And yes, we are aware that this isn’t the smoothest or snazziest website you’ll encounter in the third decade of the twenty-first century. Please keep in mind that our IT guy is 74.
